I was asked to give clinical input on the decision-making for a Ukrainian soldier who was injured in a blast injury during fighting in the Ukraine. With my experience in high energy complex trauma gained in South Africa, I was able to add value to the discussion. The evening was spent with a social event where patients attended as well as surgeons. Collaboration and innovation, hosted by Vincent Stirler and the team.
